Great Lives Project
The Great Lives Fair Project will include: 4 Parts PART I--WRITTEN A written report –typed in 12-14 point Arial or Times New Roman font with 1” margins. (Rough draft needs to be double spaced) 1. An illustrated title page that includes: Name of Person Name of Student Teacher’s Name School Name Date of Project Hand drawn illustration ` 2. A timeline of the person’s life. The timeline needs to include a minimum of 20 major events; both biographical events and events in their life that caused them to be a great life.
PART II—3-D Project Choose one of the following project choices: Please refer to the individual rubrics for each project choice, for specific guidelines and scoring details.
PART III—Visual Aide The visual aide must contain: 1. A minimum of 9 images—they should include a majority of student created drawings/images. 2. Vital Statistics of the person (birth/death dates; geographical data; family information. 3. 5 major events (from biography paper (timeline) 4. At least one quote from the person 5. You must include this “contribution statement” on your board/slide show: “_(Person’s Name) was a great life because….” PART IV—PRESENTATION
